"Neat story, mum and dad." Tails said sleepily. "Good night." With that, the two tailed fox dosed off.
"Night, son." Whispered Sonic.
"Goodnight, honey." Added Sally.
With that, the 'parents' silently left the room.
I strongly believe that Sonic and Sally are the closest things to parents Tails has ever had. Ok, Sonic and Tails have a 'big brother/little brother' relationship, but at times, Sonic does care for Tails very much like a father would. And I know Tails calls Sally 'Aunt Sally', but without Tails' birth mother, their relationship is almost like a 'mother/son' one. Plus, Sonic and Sally are in a relationship in SatAm (and at times Sally has to 'parent' Sonic), so it works all three ways.

Aww, so lovely. I knew that Sonic and Tails are like brothers but I also noticed in The Adventures Of Sonic The Hedgehog a bit of fatherly love in Tails' new home.
